“If you want to be successful, it’s just this simple. Know what you are doing. Love what you are doing. And believe in what you are doing.”

Will Rogers

NEW CUSTOMERS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA

Every channel has its own rules, therefore the efficiency is different on a short-term or a long-term strategy. Currently i’m handling around 10-12 social channels

I see the as a long-term investment, my website is my business card. But a simple website is just not enough, you have to drive traffic to it, and beside, you have to make quality content for the organic reach.

In Hungary (and many other countries) the main channel of the communication is Facebook, because people spend a lot of time here. But they use it for entertainment and contacting friends and family, therefore you have to be careful with the boring business-related topics. The future is about video and sound.

Instagram is growing, its popular at the age of 20-30, younger than Facebook. Every other channel is just a plus for me (Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat – these channels are not so popular in Hungary than the others)

THE FUTURE OF SOCIAL MEDIA

We will spend more and more time on these platforms. You can deny it, but you can’t do anything against the trends. And your future customers are reachable on these channels. So on a business standpoint its a must. The main question is: where is the attention of you potential customer, client?

There are 4 ways to communicate to the world, you have to find your own “voice”:

  • the written word
  • audio
  • video
  • pictures
